vicky, 02 Apr 2020Anyone have a proper permanent solution for bootloop issue
plz help me about bootloop issue
This phone has an issue that arises when it overheats once.
To solve the bootloop issue, you need to warm the processor with a hair drayer, this overdrives 2 of the cores and allows you to use your phone briefly to allow rooting. Once rooted you can replace the OS by a tweaked OS that avoids using the 2 cores that cause the bootloop. The phone is then working but much slower so you might only expect about 6 more months of use.

Anyone have a proper permanent solution for bootloop issue
plz help me about bootloop issue
I'm still using this phone after year and a half with no issues whatsoever. I never let it get too hot, because I don't play video games and don't watch movies on it the battery holds up for longer than 2 days, it feels as fast as day 1, I really don't have any complaints and I'll probably will keep using it for a couple more years till I have to change the battery
Hasn't stood the test of time. First one died after 11 months of use, bootloop issue (replaced via warranty). Second one died after 11 months of use, same issue. Was eventually able to get the mainboard replaced because LG had extended the warranty due to the bootloop lawsuit. Then the fingerprint sensor died (which I replaced on my own). Then the earphone speaker died (which I also replaced on my own). Then the video rendering started glitching with a permanent 1px wide line down my display. At that point I gave up and got a new phone. $450+ USD was way too much to pay for less than 3 years of unreliable use.

Not wort... moreI have purchased my phone on Dec 22nd 2015; the board got problem on 30 the 2016 . when I went to the customer care they told me out of warranty and have to pay rupees 10000. That time I have not purchased the board; two days back I went and see the server center and shockingly find out they had extended the warranty by 6 months again I lost the chance. They haven't informed me about the offer and now they are telling me the board is short in number and I have to buy it immediately. :-(
Good phone. Got Android O update in my Nexus 5x.
Anyone updated to Android 7.1.1 March 2017 patch? How was it?
Within 13 months mobile mother board becomes faulty. New board cost is another 10000. Not worth buying
I really like this phone, still worth buying in 2017? Thanks
I have been using nexus 5x for about 6-7 months, and i find the best smartphone among all.the display is quite good and sharp, batyer is decent, performance is best, though speakers are not so good.
No heating problems and no lagging issues.
After android 7.0 nougat update, the battery life has also increased with the doze feature.
The phone feels very good in hand with black matye finish and is very light weight as well,136 gms only.
Nexus 5x is the best Android smartphone then any other.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2015I don't get it why this is called a "mid-range" "lower end SOC" LGG4 has the same kind of SoC ... moreBecause the LG G4 IS a mid range phone, priced like a flagship one (at launch).
AnonD-388500, 28 Apr 2016Hi there
For those of you that have experience with both the Nexus 5X and LG G4, please in... moreI had both. The LG G4 can produce excellent photos in MANUAL MODE, otherwise the Auto Mode tends to overexpose. The 5x is a great all-rounder especially with HDR+ mode on, however the stock camera app has no manual controls at all. You can download apps for manual controls for the 5x, but EV controls won't work, and the shutter speed only goes up to 1/5 of a second at its minimum.
Unfortunately my LG G4 died of bootloop. It's a known issue.
