Way to go Nokia, offering inferior specs to EU, which made you at the first place. Hope it will share HTC's fate which also always hated EU
TechLover1, 21 Sep 2017Ohh, a new variant with 6GB RAM/128GB storage, excellent. Definitely a good news. What's more,... more Lately, I have been agreeing with you. The Nokia 9 could be a great handset.

AnonD-661532, 21 Sep 2017Why you are careI don't care. Because I love Xperia phones.
Excellent. Trusted quality redefined. So much to like from build, cooling core, ozo, panel, metal build attention to detail. With the 9 coming too. Something for everyone. I won't be looking at apple this year. All good but Nokia for me this round.

I expect this to price at $650-$750 or less considering the 4gb/64gb version was $599-$650...
Now thats a flagship killer!!!! I'm not gonna talk about 1+ coz it's a POS trash.
sweet mother of god, finally some nice phone from nokia.
this is what a google phone should be like. sd card slot, decent hardware and prices where it's not 1K.
design wise, hate the large bezels,it's a waste of space but much better than paying more for limited memory,sub-par designs and iphone clone/wannabe.
Nokia has never had much market share in the USA even during their heyday. When they ruled sales globally from 1998-2011, Nokia ranked behind Motorola and RIM in the US. Back in 2007 when the N95 was going to be released, Nokia was only 5th in US sales.
Nokia has never been #1 in the US. They ranked #1 globally for catering to developing countries with $50 feature phones. Nokia has as much presence in the US as phones coming from Sony or ZTE. When I had the 3310 (aka 3360 on Cingular), I rarely saw Nokia phones or ads on TV for them. Motorola ruled back then.
With that said, this is good news. I would love to see it go under $400 like the Sony Xperia XZ after a half a year months. Hope it comes in matte blue. This is really catered to hardcore phone fanatics. Most American consumers either pick iPhone, Galaxy S, or Note.

SZTadir, 21 Sep 2017Something is not right here. Usually USA gets the model with the lower storage and ram.Well they had to do something More to keep people from waiting for the iPhone x.
Ohh, a new variant with 6GB RAM/128GB storage, excellent. Definitely a good news. What's more, so now hopefully the Nokia 9 will raise the bar to if not coming with both, a 6GB/128GB as standard, but at least it will come with a 6GB as base (hopefully).
why are we subjected not to get 6gb ram and 128 memory in South Africa, no use having a smartphone with so much bragging but we don't get all the good stuff . very disappointing.
Nokia 8 this phone is just too great. Nokia gr8.
