I like that Zerolemon still provides a large battery case, but I am sure there are plenty of other ways to redistribute the heft rather than making an already super-tall smartphone even taller!
Great for those who care about battery and not bulk, people calling this trash are poor haters lol

It's the internet, a camera, entertainment player, and communications device.
Truth is, I use my smartphone so heavily as a supplement to my work on the field that the Note7 with its sealed battery has to be charged twice daily.
My old Note 3 with 3X the battery power (10,000 mAh) gives me no worries with up to 24 hours heavy use AT LEAST, with some over 18 hours POSSIBLE Screen On Time.
If you only use 1 hour of SOT daily, then you have been better off getting a low-end phone in the first place to "get a life".

Diego2606, 25 Jul 2017Yeah i understand what you are saying and i coudn't agree more but the batteries are extra bul... moreI bet the technology is here, but manufacturers are just milking on old technology like lithium-ion battery technology. No, they aren't making the battery last a whole day, and make you believe that carrying powerbanks is normal. Samsung figured it out, and started having sealed batteries so the after sales service like breakage and battery changing will make more money.
We always have iPhone users complaining about their batteries not as good when they first get it.
Well, the cases are definitely quite bulky, and for me personally even more, because I prefer to don't even use an ordinary cover (although obviously I risk much more). But its increase in battery juicy is definitely fantastic, to a point, that it even deserve a consideration, at least for particular moments.

Is that zerolemon you are using? I heard it's hard to remove that thing from the Note 3.
DNeighbor, 24 Jul 20172000 mAh external will only give you 1000 to 1200 mAh. Transfer loss. And it's not a good idea... moreYeah i understand what you are saying and i coudn't agree more but the batteries are extra bulky.i mean they should be more slender slim easy to carry
AnonD-663385, 24 Jul 2017Too tall, heavy and bulky!! Even it packs lots of juice, those minuses out weight the plus! ... moreit is possible, just use 50mhz single core cpu and 1" 96x96 screen, u will last months with 3000mah battery.
seems like technology is moving backwards to the days of Motorola and nokia phones what was as big as your forearm , this horrendous to carry and handle and be looked at even if its a million ampere !!
S8+ is already a taller device... And now they have made it extra taller... The bulk should have been added at the back rather below...
AnonD-39937, 24 Jul 2017first they cut battery capacities to make phones as slim and small as possible with a screen a... moreYeah I should definitely get a life and give up my job as a traveling salesman that is supporting my family for 15 years...
Oh wait it's not *I* that should get a life, it's you that should get a clue. Sealing the batteries in was an obvious assault on people's wishes. Every series *literally* every single one that sealed her battery saw her sales fall off a cliff the *exact* year that they sealed the battery.
See S6 vs S5, Note 5 vs Note 4, G6 vs G5... Etc. So obviously they don't do it for the people, people prefer removable batteries. They do it for the their bottom line (sealed phones are more easily broken / last less / get replaced more often) and that's the only truth.
Stop protecting their practices and *try* to at least see that having a day long phone (even under heavy use) and/or instant recharge (by popping a spare) *is* the holy grail of autonomy and not the want of some weirdos that you think should get a life.
Next time that my phone dies and I lose a sale must remind the wife that she should get a life and phones were not meant to last more than 8 hours of use a day anyway... Or not (because clearly they did up until a few years back).
We're roaming the underworld of autonomy, currently, and some people should finally wake up and smell the roses...
zodiacfml, 25 Jul 2017great if one needs a protective case with a additionally battery but it makes it unwieldy and ... moreYeah, carry the extra BULKIER powerbank.
A lot of you don't understand that a sealed battery is just so limited and designed not to last a day that you need to carry a powerbank.
I was OK with Zerolemon's battery cases for the Note5, S6, S7, but these look hideous! Instead of designing something thin on the end, they made the entire thing taller/longer! There had to be a way to reduce - a thinner L-shaped USB type C connector.
I'm no stranger with using Zerolemon for over 1.5 years on my Note 3. The 30% to 40% loss in the power transfer from external to internal battery is such a waste on these "current/hip" smartphones with sealed batteries.n it's a step backwards.
While my Note 3's removable battery system utilizes ALL the 10,000 mAh capacity to give me all-day power without the need to carry an even bulkier powerbank. It can give me more than 15 hours of Screen On Time for a two-day stretch despite heavy use.
great if one needs a protective case with a additionally battery but it makes it unwieldy and heavy. it will be cheaper for a user with a separate case and power bank.

Diego2606, 24 Jul 2017I would a external battery around 2000mah because that i thinj is the battery life you need to... more2000 mAh external will only give you 1000 to 1200 mAh. Transfer loss. And it's not a good idea to have your battery deep drain (below 20%).
I would a external battery around 2000mah because that i thinj is the battery life you need to get to a whole day.in the case of a 2000mah external battery the phone would still look nice and you would the extra juice to get thru the day .i have an s7 and arround 6 pm my battery is at 15% so 2000mah would get me just fine but everyone makes those stupid big useless bateries.i want for my new s8 a 2000mah external battery.can someone help me please?thx
Coming from experiance i can say zerolemon provide a great product.
im sure these will make anyone never have to chwck battery life again for the day and can hammer out what they want when they want.
the only problwm i see is that these type of systems i.e a battery pack needs roughly twice the battery power to fully charge the phones internal battery.
I prefer my remvoable batteries for this reason and as such my note 2 and s5 both with removable batteries and both with zerolemon batteries are a game changer for me.
i just cant see any other phone in the same way.... is it a curse?
