NOKIA is a brand and a statement. I hope they KILL the competition and regain some market share when it comes out. Im especially crossing my fingers for a High end camera with MINIMUM a Xenon Flash.

No, you're just pretending to live in alternate world where your favorite OS appears in the charts of usage and relevance. Any Pixel or S7 will trounce any Windows flagship while still being able to do so much more thanks to the ecosystem.
Looking forward to buy a new NOKIA. It`s been 4 years I am working with a nice lumia720 and I really want to change it with another NOKIA. May the force be with you NOKIA.

Nokia should have done this when they had huge software/hardware assets like pure view, here maps, etc. Now they has once great brand name. all the talented software /hardware engineers, suppy chains are gone.
I wish good luck to Nokia, been a user for 6 or seven years but even though I had two expensive Nokias, the E55 and N9, I've never been truly happy with them. I gave up on the wait and purchased a A5 2016 Samsung and I'm in love with it.
If Nokia can go to the top of the heap again, I might give them a try, but announced specs suggest middle of the road chinese androids, so I'm not optimistic.

I will buy the next Nokia flagship regardless of the OS, though I am a windows phone user.
I wish you good luck this time Nokia.
Nokia is well needed, we need budget lumia style androids, its going to kill windows 10 big time in mobiles
Nokia: please do a security hardened solution. Build you security below Android. Work with SSH, another Finnish legend.
You will win.

You haven't used a Windows 10 phone with the anniversary update - that's why you said what you said. Windows just started kicking Android's rear in terms of... well... almost all areas. (except the number of apps in the store)
After the appearance of the iPhone 4 in 2010 using a Nokia (or a BlackBerry for that matter) would make you an instant laughing stock ... unless you are in India, where Nokia is King like Elvis Presley

Google closely involved? Oh great, guess that means boring designs and those wretched on-screen home keys then.
nokia should concentrate on creating a new version of the nokia 808. there is no point to offer yet another android phone
Google should have never sold Motorola...
Now that they have done it, they should take over Nokia as their hardware partner.
