Just the fact that each person will go for what they love. apple lovers for Apple. and Android lovers for android. each goes for what they like. thus why I called for peace in the Apple/Android war.

Looks like Apple rename and slapped A9X onto it.

I really appreciate your opinion , as a former Android enthusiast and now an iPhone user (I still use Android phone for my other need). I used to be quite active in flashing different rom for every single Android phone I owned and tinkered with stuff(root, running linux distro, improving battery life and performance with kernel config, gaming on emulator, customizing UI and stuff) but as time goes on it shows that most of this tinkering is not really needed and just gets in the way in my productivity. I am a big gamer guy on PC I play Dota 2 continuously and other Skyrim,GTA V,Witcher 3,(i'm not trying to be cringey here just to show a point), but smartphone I find I never really get into gaming on it and it would usually becomes a distraction for me. Not really that much of social network kind of guy but Whatsapp and FB is a must. I went with iOS because there are less customizing option to get me distracted throught the day
Reading through comments (actually almost all of them) I only see people arguing about plain numbers, scores, MHz - GHz, count of cores and so on. Nobody thinks of that iOS and Android have different ideologies from their beginning. I've used 6 android phones (5 Samis and a Meizu as my personal devices) and all day long I test payment add on devices for Apple mobiles. All I've seen from SGS1 to SGS7 and iPhone4 to 6s is that android is build around multitasking and iOS is just refined to do the exact thing at the moment ( can't recall at the moment in which iOS Apple added some sort of multitasking). Other major factor is that there are only a bunch of devices that a single top company has to improve their software - the case of Apple, as for android - it is the base for maybe thousands of different mobos in hundreds of companies, and the biggest brands have to support tens of devices simultaneously. As for the latest topnotch models in the past 9-10 months I had to change 2 phones, first I bought Meizu Pro 5 with same as SGS6 hardware but smaller resolution, it outperformed its twin a lot - thanks to the resolution, unfortunately i broke it (still would have used it tremendous phone), now I have SGS7 Edge (most amazing screen I have seen in my life, no matter TV, tablet, monitor etc.), never experienced phone caused lag, battery drain (this is software based). I very rarely use task manager to clear out RAM, for me is there just to switch apps, my browser almost all the time has 10-15 or more tabs open (depends on browser only few stay loaded).
In my surrounding people who use iPhone don't care a lot for customizations, using different apps they chose to install and scroll all day long facebooking or chatting online. The android group almost every time shows me something new, some try to install modded software or share new experience with new online feature how to do something.

so if it's so great why those shops who sell used stuff are full of those gear glasses? even when people got it free they don't keep them. Doesn't sound that good to me?
Sorry it's not for primetime yet it's very niche product, and Apple has nothing to do with this. They know the VR isn't for mass market so they wait the right time if it ever comes. There's need to be somekind of killer app for VR it to make success, so far there isn't.
it doesn't matter what benchmarks, apple battery life always sucks

Almost ninety percent of people who tried it loved the experience. It IS ready for primetime. It's just that a lot people still don't know how good it is. Not everything has to wait for Apple to step in for it to be ready for primetime, you know.

unchanged resolution are you kidding me? Android phones have had QHD for how many years now?
Geekbench. So about 20% faster than last year. Modest improvement, but as last year's A9 chipset was super speedy, it's OK. Hopefully, the battery life will see a similar improvement with the new energy efficient chipset!
