It is 7.0 mentioned in the reveal video.
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016Android would have made Nutella (the company) even more famous.. Do you honestly think the average consumer knows the name of the Android version he/she is running?
AnonD-555067, 30 Jun 2016Nutella is the name of a company.....:-SS Nutella is the name the product. The name of the company is Fererro.
Listen to you all arguing about it being called Nougat and not Nutella... hahahahaha get out of the house and go a walk!
John, 01 Jul 2016Android N sounds better than Android Naugat. Agreed.
That's why smartphone users have diabetes! 😉😉.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2016Kitkat and Nougat aren't dessertsNothing to do with desserts. From Google's own description:
"Each major release version is named after something sweet." They could name it "CupOfTea" and I wouldn't give a toss.
Nougat is pronounced new-gar, not very friendly for some dialects. I'd have preferred Nutella.
Sounds incredibly similar to No-Get... I wonder why Google?
Nougat is used as a derogatory term here in UK (Scotland) so we will have Apple Fanboys and Android Nougats! i can see this one sticking :-P
Kitkat and Nougat aren't desserts
Big Daddy, 01 Jul 2016Yeah but it is a registered name...But they used it kitkat paid them to use it
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2016Hey where is neyyapamStop with the neyyapam. That is not even dessert. That is a snack. It is more like fried and oily based product. If that count as a dessert then even namagashi is a candidate.
