It went from $600 to $500 to $550 in a matter of months, at this rate they'll be cheaper than most tablets in the market lol
Seems like the only products not getting price cuts a couple of weeks after launch from samsung are their low and mid range phones and low end tablets. For thise who buy samsung flagship (or expensive/overpriced products), just wait a couple of weeks for deals that will come

Only Microsoft seems to have got UI right.
AJ_74, 13 Feb 2016Call it what you want to, it's still an overpriced pile of crap. Nobody's buying it. Like, no one. totally agree and i was surprised when they called that big screen device a tablet
This is a useless device because it runs Android. If it were to use Windows as its OS, then things would be different. Prices might even have went up.
Let's face it. Android is only useful in tamagotchi-like devices and cheap phones that children use. In the mature environment of businesses and grown up people, Windows, iOS and BBOS are the only usable operating systems that don't lag and don't crash. Android is just a big pile of cr*p.

Answer: It's not worth your hard-earnd money.
You're already in a vast minority of people that comment on tech blogs. Now add to that the fact that you're in the vast minority of tech blog commenters that think this is a good product offering by Samsung. I think to get the idea. Stop trying to project what you like onto the masses.
Comments are for voicing opinions good, bad or ugly. If you don't like what people have to say, don't read the comments.
Next year should be around $349.

1080p is fine on my Dell XPS 18 which is exactly the same size but a full windows PC.
i like this tablet but i dont like the stand of this tab .. and hdmi port is missing .. plus only 2gb ram .. Q4 tab of 2015 should have 4gb ram .. plus 2k screen .. !
AnonD-73651, 13 Feb 2016I can't understand them worrying about sales when they haven't released it in other countries.... moreIt's available on Amazon.co.uk but at a rather costly £649 (just shy of $1000 at the current exchange rate).
Gsmarena, please update your article. Other articles had revealed in depth about this product. Samsung product planner stated that Galaxy View is indeed not a tablet. They called it 'movable display'. A new category Samsung try to experiment with.
I can't understand them worrying about sales when they haven't released it in other countries. Here in the UK we can't get this, the Note 5 and the LG V10. Why?

There are lots of people who think that this tablet is useful and I'm one of them too. I could think of many reasons to buy this tablet, but I've already posted a few comments on previous galaxy view posts, so I'm not going to do it again.
Not sure who would buy one of these things anyway.

Is it even viable to buy one? Too big for a tablet
