Please return the infrared emitter to the device. He would be perfect.
6 GB RAM pretty good upgrade..
Eventually the Korean giant should consider on a better ram & camera for note 6 and note 6 edge

Like s6 edge plus
I might buy it if it means the return of MicroSD and an IR Blaster.
i think the note 5 is after all one of the best beasts ever made.
For mobile VR 4k might not even be enough...
It never sold well because of the incredibly high price tag. For the same cash some just went and got the bigger iPhone or any other 6" beast.
sorry but note5 was a big big failure
AnonD-498221, 07 Feb 2016Good riddance! and Good luck with your Z5 Premium and all the uncertainty that surrounds it a... more4K screen? Are you joking? you can barely see the difference on a HUGE UHTV but on a 5 inch screen? :)
You will never see any difference between HD and 4K on a phone. Get real, kid. :)
4K is for hipsters and for stupids.
I will never buy a samsung with no sd card slot and non removable battery
Long time ago i did switch from iphone to samsung for the same reason i think i will switch from samsung to LG for the same reason Unles samsung will make the the note and the s with sd card and removable battery again also dual sim so we dont have to buy it from china with all language proplems and stuff...
So long samsung
Safe aldibiki from egypt
So many people here wanting the SD card to come back.... i cant believe Samsung thought it would be a good idea to remove it from the GN5. It was such a major benefit over the iPhone... among others.
Its looking like a sure thing that the SD card will be back on the S7 meaning it will be back on the GN6 :-)
I think it would be better idea if they give us a choice as what we want. Let say, they will give us few options for specification and we can pre-order as we wish. That way, customer and manufacturer both are happy. Nice business :)
Omission of MHL, Ir blaster and expandable memory slot is what kept me from upgrading to any of 2015 Samsung flagships... Not until Samsung correct this, Long live my Note 4!
Noel, 06 Feb 2016I don't care for the edged screen or the second miniature screen on the LG V10..just a gimmick... morewhy not make 15 different variants of different sizes, styles, some with removable battery/some with sealed battery, some made of plastic some made of glass, some that tell you what an idiot you are for your post. Yeh, that last one would be a great variant for you.
Anonymous, 06 Feb 2016Don't care, Note stopped being a pro phone ever since they sealed the battery. Much better opt... moreSo what better phone out there did you buy? I guess they were so good that you just had to brag about them here mentioning them by name: None
wyrma, 06 Feb 2016you can still use a phone with a removable battery without removing the battery. there's no di... moreBut there's a huge difference in the design. Notice how all the previous Notes look cheap. That's because they are cheap. You can't really do much to make a phone look beautiful when you use cheap plastic with a cheap plastic back cover.
I think the most beautiful phones ever designed were Iphone's 5 and 5s and Samsung's Note 5 & Gs6 Edge and Plus variant. They could never have accomplished this if they used plastic. Owners of all Iphones have taught the industry that removable batteries limit the design and are not necessary. I'll be honsest, I balked and laughed when I heard Iphones had sealed batteries. But several years later look at how dedicated the Iphone customer base is. Apparently, better design with slimmer case and smoother OS operation holds more value than a battery than can be removed. Besides, most people don't enjoy the battery bulge in the pocket lifestyle that comes with battery swapping.
Anonymous, 07 Feb 2016Many people hate carrying power banks. Also what are you going to do when your phone's batt... moreHow often have we heard of Iphone batteries dying? Pretty much NEVER! You should quit wasting your time trying to discourage others from buying the phone that they want just because the company that you wanted to release your perfect phone chose not to cater to you. Many of us thank the stars that we won't have to keep an uncomfortable spare battery in our pocket, fumble over cheap plastic backings while on the go just to replace a battery only to find that it too has drained. No thank you! Did that back when Blackberry was popular. Hated it then and hate it now. What most people want is a beautiful device, quick charging, and convenient wireless charging. So just stop this nonsense about trying to get everyone to think inside the box like you. We're not going to do it.
JamesB, 07 Feb 2016Very very wrong. Since I could not get a SD card and MHLwith a Note 5, I decided to leave Sam... moreGood riddance! and Good luck with your Z5 Premium and all the uncertainty that surrounds it and Sony Mobile. Will you get updates to the OS? who knows. Will you get performance updates that will help the camera surpass the Note 5's? Who knows. Will you ever get to fully enjoy that 4k screen? Who knows. One thing is for sure, you'll be looking for a new flagship phone soon again. Note 6 will obviously be the best one available. But you can go ahead and cut your nose to spite your face and refuse to upgrade to the Note 6. No one really cares.
